Evert Myhrman
Evert Birger Paul Myhrman, born January 25, 1907 in Kristinehamn, died June 27, 1983 in Nacka, was a Swedish painter, draftsman, decorator and magician.
He was the son of the postman Viktor Myhrman and Fredrika Myhrman. He married Ruth Valborg Lantz (1907–2008) in 1937.
Myhrman was already interested in drawing at a young age and this was noticed by his teachers at school and he was awarded a scholarship by his hometown to pursue art studies. He studied in Italy, France, England and Germany. Upon his return to Sweden, he first settled in Eskilstuna. When he was hired as the manager of the Folkparkernas centralorganisation's studio, he moved to Stockholm.
His art consists mostly of theatre painting, he has among other things done decoration work for
Ernst Rolf's, Karl Gerhard's and "Tjadden" revues, in total he has done over 250 theatre decorations.
As a visual artist he painted landscape motifs and drew caricatures. He worked as an illustrator in the magazine Våra nöjen and illustrated Sixten Ahrenberg's book.

Myhrman is represented at the Gothenburg City Museum, the Arbetarrörelsens archive and library, Eskilstuna City Museum, the Lithographic Museum and the Royal Library.
He became a hobby magician after he saw Brazil Jack perform magic. He was involved in forming the Swedish Magic Circle, and he participated as a lecturer and performed the flea Elvira in the Swedish Magic Circle's public performances at the Concert Hall for several years. He made many illustrations for the magazine Trollkarlen, including the cover, as well as the emblem and the merit badge.
He was a club master and honorary member of the Swedish Magic Circle.
He was also a member of the Magic Brothers - Stockholm
The Myhrman couple are buried in the columbarium of Gustav Vasa Church at Odenplan in Stockholm.
